Is it very unlikely that your claim will be paid? Then it is wise to limit your efforts and recovery costs so that you do not waste your time and money for nothing. To allow you to make that decision in a well-informed manner, we will perform a solvency test of your customers. We will verify how likely it is that they will be able to pay the full claim. This test is based on four main principles:

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE IN THE MATTER

Modero Judicial Officers Antwerp can count on the expertise of nine certified judicial officers, five junior judicial officers and more than 100 employees. In addition, Modero has offices in the cities of Brussels, Dendermonde, Mechelen and Ghent. Our judicial officers, junior judicial officers and employees all have extensive experience with debt collection. They are able to get a great deal of information from the small details of a case. Our team consists of numerous specialists, in various areas. In this way, we can put an experienced and competent member of staff in charge of your case, even when dealing with a very specific branch of the law.

SITE VISIT

We spend a lot of time on the go. And so we know our district through and through. We know exactly which areas attract people with structural payment problems. This information usually casts a clearer light on the case. We ask our partners within the Modero Network or within Modero International to provide more details about the situation of your customer, from the start of the recovery process.

KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS

Does your customer have structural financial problems? Then it is very likely that he or she already has a case pending with a Modero judicial officer. We convert the knowledge about your customer’s solvency into concrete, useful information that allows us to choose the right approach to collect your claim as soon as possible.

EXTERNAL DATABASES

As judicial officers we have access to various external databases: the National Population Registry, the National Database of Debts and Attachments, the database of the Motor Vehicle Registration Administration (DIV), the Central Company Registry, etc. As soon as we have the necessary mandate, we will consult those files to obtain the fullest possible picture of your customer’s solvency. Do they own a piece of real estate? Do they own a vehicle? Have their goods already been attached? Have they protested a bill of exchange? The answers to these questions can determine the strategy to follow.
