Maybe you are willing to pay off your debt(s), but you are having financial difficulties? Or maybe you have other questions about how you can pay? Or you would like to know how to get a payment plan? Here you will find an answer to these questions.

HOW CAN I PAY?

We offer you several possibilities to pay your debt with us. That way, you can choose which method of payment is the easiest for you.

Payment via a European or international transfer

At the bottom of our letter, you will find a pink transfer form. This is already completely filled in. You can take this transfer form to your bank and ask them to perform this transfer for you. Or if you have the option to make a transfer via the internet, then simply copy all of this data in your screen. Check that you have entered all the data correctly, especially the amount, account number and reference.

Caution! You have only paid once we have received the payment in our account. Please note that your payment must be in our account by the end of this time period. So be sure to submit your payment a few days in advance. It is also very important that you correctly mention the structured reference or file number as provided on the transfer form. If you do not, we cannot assign your payment and the recovery process is not stopped!

Payment via our online web application

At the bottom of our letter, a website is mentioned, together with a unique user and file number. If you enter this data on the aforementioned website or fill out MY FILE on the right of this page, you will get to see a detailed overview of your file. From this overview, you can then be forwarded to your bank’s website to carry out an online transfer. Please check that you have entered all the data correctly, especially the amount, account number and reference.

Payment at the nearest agency

You can also pay on the spot at the contact desk of one of our judicial officer agencies. Here you will find an itinerary and opening hours.

Caution! You can use Bancontact to make payments in the Antwerp and Ghent offices, but not Proton or credit cards.

DO I HAVE TO PAY EVERYTHING AT ONCE?

Our payment reminder letter clearly states by what date you should have made payment. Please note that your payment must be in our account by the end of this time period. So be sure to submit your payment a few days in advance.

Our letter also mentions exactly how much you have to pay. This amount consists of different components. You do not only have to pay the amount of the invoice(s) (or other debts), but also the interests and any costs you owe. Your case will only be settled once we have received the full sum. If you want to check this again, you can obtain a detailed overview via our online file consultation tool (see MY FILE).

Is the specified payment term or the specified amount not feasible for you? Then speak up and contact us as soon as possible to discuss. We will work together with you and your creditor to find an appropriate payment plan.

I AM HAVING FINANCIAL PROBLEMS

You do not have the means to pay the amount due? It is important that you respond as soon as possible before the problems pile up and you are faced with insurmountable debts.

Are your financial problems temporary?

Contact us as soon as possible, so we can find a solution together with your case manager and creditor. You may be able to get a payment plan, but your creditor has to approve this. Also know that the longer you take to repay your debt, the more interest on this debt you will have to pay.

Are your financial problems structural?

Do you have multiple debts with different creditors? In this case, it is a good idea to contact your local OCMW as they will be able to assist you. They can help you in managing your budget or to obtain a collective debt settlement. You will find references to organisations that can offer assistance and advice here.
